Connect Exact Online for live financial data in valuations
Upswitch helps accountants and M&A advisors prepare defensible SME valuations faster. With Pro, link Exact Online to pull in accounting figures for valuations you prepare for clients — limited to what you approve in Exact.
What does the integration do?
- Secure connection to your Exact Online account: you sign in at Exact and approve access (Belgium or the Netherlands, depending on your organisation).
- Synchronizes divisions you can access and the data needed to use balance-sheet and profit-and-loss information in the valuation workflow.
- Read-only: Upswitch does not write back to Exact; your source data in Exact is not modified.

Sign-in and permission
On first connect you are redirected to Exact to sign in and approve the access Upswitch requests (read-only financial data).
While the connection stays active you may not see the consent screen again. To demonstrate consent: revoke the application link inside Exact and disconnect in Upswitch under Settings → Integrations, then start Connect again.
Belgium and the Netherlands
- •Belgium: start.exactonline.be portal.
- •Netherlands: start.exactonline.nl portal.
- •Based on your organisation settings in Upswitch, your data is fetched from the correct Exact Online region (Belgium or the Netherlands).
