What powers a public company range

Every public range carries an evidence tier, source identifiers, source date and model version. Registry facts and Upswitch estimates are kept distinct.

Tier A — filed range

Derived from public company financial statements.

Tier B — size proxy

Official employee, turnover, asset or capital information combined with sector multiples.

Tier C — sector benchmark

A deliberately broad p10-p90 range from at least 30 comparable Tier A/B companies. This is not a company-specific appraisal.

  • France: SIRENE and INPI/RNE
  • Belgium: CBE/KBO Open Data and NBB/CBSO
  • Norway: Brønnøysundregistrene
  • United Kingdom: Companies House
  • Ireland: CRO Open Data

Before indexing, the final publication gate verifies source policy, attribution, legal-entity status, suppression or objection state, range provenance and minimum content. Personal/director contact details are not part of the public payload.
